BP’s oil-capture system is back up and running: After an accident forced BP to remove the containment cap from the leaking oil well in the Gulf on Wednesday, the oil company has restored the cap and resumed collecting oil. While the cap was off, oil gushed unchecked into the Gulf. The logistics coordinator onboard the ship siphoning the oil tells the Associated Press that it will be some time before the system gets “ramped back up” to capacity.
