A-List couple doubled their giving from the previous year.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie continue to build their image as the philanthropic power couple, sending $6.4 million to various charities in 2008, according to the tax return for the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. This is approximately double what Brangelina gave away in 2007. The focus of their giving remains human rights, and the biggest recipients were The Global Health Council, Human Rights Watch, and Brad’s Make It Right Foundation.
