Bravo announced Thursday it would not be renewing The Real Housewives of D.C. for a second season, the first cancellation for the network’s flagship series. The series premiered in August 2010 and performed decently in the ratings—better than the Miami installment—but it did not have enough of the juicy drama of some of the other versions of the series. Bravo also announced 11 series pickups, five renewals and the network also has a number of other projects in development, including a scripted drama.
