Brazil’s attorney general accused President Michel Temer of corruption and obstruction of justice, according to details of an investigation released by the Brazilian Supreme Court on Friday. Brazilian newspaper Globo reported Wednesday that they had audio of Temer allegedly paying hush money to a former lawmaker. Temer began serving as acting president last May while former Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff was facing impeachment trials and became president in August. Brazilians began protesting Temer's right-wing administration en masse last summer, including during the 2016 Rio Olympics.
