Bret Michaels to Return to Stage

Bret Michaels’ recovery is going well: TMZ is reporting that Michaels will play the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi on May 28, a mere month after suffering a subarachnoid hemorrhage at the base of his brain stem. Hemorrhages of the sort that Michaels suffered are very dangerous and often fatal, so the bandana-headed rocker is probably thanking his stars for being alive–much less being able to perform. When Michaels was in the hospital, doctors and fans alike were shocked at the rapid pace of the Rock of Love star’s recovery. Perhaps having a reality TV show dedicated to women pining for you keeps a man in better shape than we thought.
