The FBI probe into Brett Kavanaugh’s alleged sexual misconduct could be wrapped up as early as today, The New York Times reports, even as several witnesses complain they’ve not yet been contacted. Senate Republican leaders are pressing to wrap up the confirmation hearings on the Supreme Court nominee by the end of the week. “We’ll have an FBI report this week, and we’ll have a vote this week,” Sen. Mitch McConnell told reporters Tuesday. But several people with information related to the allegations say they’ve been trying in vain to speak with the FBI. Richard Oh, a classmate of Kavanaugh’s at Yale, told Reuters he contacted the FBI twice over the weekend in hopes of providing information: “I still haven’t heard from them,” he said. Accuser Christine Blasey Ford has also not been contacted.
