Bristol Palin announced on Instagram on Thursday the birth of her second child, a girl named Sailor Grace. Palin, who is the daughter of 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, launched an abstinence campaign after giving birth to her first child out of wedlock as an 18-year-old in 2008. The child is the second child out of wedlock for Palin. She was engaged to Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer earlier this year, but the wedding was called off days before the ceremony. Palin has not publicly said who is the father of her newborn. Sarah Palin wrote the child was the “best gift ever.”
