Britain Rocked by Politician Child Abuse

Emerging claims of a conspiracy by British politicians to cover-up child sex abuse in the 1980s has shaken the country's establishment, and prompted Prime Minister David Cameron to pledge an independent investigation into the BBC, health service, religious authorities, and political parties. The allegations center on politicians who allegedly abused children in state care and may have been protected by authorities. "Three things need to happen," Cameron said. "Robust inquiries that get to truth; police investigations that pursue the guilty and find out what has happened; and proper lessons learned so we make sure these things cannot happen again."
