Justice served: Mary Bale, the British woman who was caught on camera dumping a cat into a trash bin for no good reason, has been charged with two counts of animal cruelty. The video of the incident enraged animal lovers on the Internet. The cat was stuck in the bin for 15 hours before its owners found it. “I cannot explain why I did this,” Bale said in a statement. “It is completely out of character and I certainly did not intend to cause any distress to Lola or her owners.”
