Police in Great Britain said on Sunday that they are investigating new allegations of sexual assault against disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein. Three allegations were reported by one woman, officials said, citing incidents in 2010, 2011 and 2015. The London Metropolitan Police’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offenses Command is probing the claims. While the police statement did not name Weinstein or the woman, it makes reference to another allegations made against the same man on Wednesday, in which British actress Lysette Anthony accuses Weinstein of raping her in London in the late 1980s. The investigation comes as Weinstein was kicked out of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Saturday amid mounting allegations of sexual harassment and assault.
