British Woman: 'It's Just a Cat'

Mary Bale is one of the least popular people in the world after a video camera caught her picking up a cat that cuddled up to her in the street and dumping it in a trash bin, but she’s not saying sorry. “I don't know what the fuss is about, it's just a cat,” she tells The Sun. "I did it as a joke because I thought it would be funny. I never thought it would be trapped. I expected it to wriggle out of the bin." The cat was, in fact, trapped in the bin for 15 hours before its owners found it. After the video of the incident went viral online, people loudly denounced Bale, including a Facebook group “Death to Mary Bale.” Bale admits to The Sun, "OK, I shouldn't have done it--but it's just a cat at the end of the day. I don't think I deserve to be hated by people all over the world, it was just a split second of madness.
