Brits go quirky at music festival

Elsewhere on the peninsula, British women were sporting feathered hats at Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot. But at Britain’s Glastonbury music festival last week, old hippies and young hipsters alike turned out in linen, Crocs, fedoras, and lots and lots of eco-friendly products. Said one 64-year-old reveler: “I love the festival because it’s not ageist. And the mud is a great leveler. I don’t like to look too festival-y.”
