A Bronx man was shot in the eye through the peephole of his apartment door Saturday, police reportedly said. Police said that the man heard a knock on his door about 6:30 a.m., according to the New York Post. When he looked through the peephole to check, a still-unidentified gunman opened fire, striking his left eye, per The Post. The man, 56, is in stable condition at an area hospital. A Bronx mom was shot dead through her peephole in November, potentially related to “street justice” involving her alleged gang-affiliated grandson, The Post said.
