A Bronx high-school student is facing murder charges after allegedly stabbing two of his classmates with a switchblade in class Wednesday, the first homicide in a New York City high school since 1992. A 15-year-old student at the Urban Assembly School for Wildlife Conservation died in the attack, while a 16-year-old victim survived and was listed in critical but stable condition late Wednesday. The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Abel Cedeno, allegedly carried out the attack during history class, in full view of about 20 other classmates. He faces charges of murder, manslaughter, attempted murder, attempted manslaughter, assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Police say Cedeno had been arguing with his two alleged victims shortly before the attack, and investigators are looking into whether he was being bullied.
