According to an NFL Network reporter, the Cleveland Browns organization allegedly covered up for star quarterback Johnny Manziel showing up drunk to a team practice. "The Browns lied and said he was in the concussion protocol," veteran reporter Michael Silver alleged this week. Manziel was inactive for the Browns' Week 17 game against the Steelers, and his absence was officially listed as a concussion by the team. Former Cleveland Plain-Dealer writer Tony Grossi reported that Manziel showed up "disheveled and inebriated" at the team's facility that day.
