Action hero Bruce Willis will switch gears and make his Broadway debut this fall in Misery, a stage adaptation of the 1990 movie. The drama will feature Willis in the role of Paul Sheldon, the bed-ridden romance novelist played by James Caan in the movie. Elizabeth Marvel, who has starred in a number of Broadway dramas and House of Cards, will take on Kathy Bates’s iconic role as his psychotic fan. The stage version is by William Goldman, who also wrote the movie script.
