The Los Angeles Lakers may have to do the unthinkable after Kobe Bryant suffered an injury on Friday: finish the final games of the season without the help of the basketball superstar. During Friday night’s game, which the Lakers won 118–116, Bryant fell. Then he fell again. And in the final minutes of the game, he suffered a catastrophic injury, tearing his left Achilles tendon after playing every minute of the game. The Lakers’ season really couldn’t get any worse.
