Upon learning that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange would be speaking at the same event, George W. Bush canceled his planned Saturday visit to Denver. "The former president has no desire to share a forum with a man who has willfully and repeatedly done great harm to the interests of the United States," said a Bush spokesman. Assange appeared via video conference to give a talk for young CEOs and industry leaders at Denver’s YPO Global Leadership Conference on Friday, although the media was locked out of his appearance. One attendee described Assange’s talk as “charming and engaging,” according to The Denver Post.
