Egyptian protesters are calling for a "march of millions" in Cairo on Tuesday, which would be the eighth day of demonstrations aimed at toppling President Hosni Mubarak. In the meantime, tens of thousands of protesters are out in Cairo on Monday and Mubarak has asked his government to meet with opposition officials in his struggle to hold on to power. One thing to watch out for: Police withdrew from major cities on Saturday, but will be returning to the streets. Many believe the Egyptian government withdrew police in order to create chaos to justify a crackdown. More than 100 people have been killed so far in the demonstrations, which show no sign of slowing down. On Sunday, opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei led protests in Cairo’s Tahrir Square. Egypt’s main opposition group, the Muslim Brotherhood, originally endorsed ElBaradei as an opposition leader, but appears to have walked back its support, with a spokesman saying, “"The people have not appointed Mohamed ElBaradei to become a spokesman of them.”
