California Governor Jerry Brown signed legislation Saturday that will ban carrying of concealed weapons on college campuses in the state, as a direct reaction to the Oregon shooting a week ago. The measure was introduced by Senator Lois Wolk several months ago, effectively closing the loophole that lets people with concealed-weapons permits walk onto college campuses with guns.
