Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the latest installment of the hit Activision videogame series, earned more than $400 million on Friday, its first day of release in the U.S. and Britain. The game sold 6.5 million units, besting the record set last year by Call of Duty: Black Ops, which sold 5.6 million units and earned $360 million on its first day. That game went on to take in $1 billion within two months of its release.
