A new diet book that appeals to manly men.

For all the men who felt excluded from Skinny Bitch, there is hope: authors Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin are releasing Skinny Bastard, a guy’s guide to slimming down and “getting ripped.” The book discusses everything from professional athletes to the unsightly “man boobs.” There are even chapters about heart disease and prostate cancer, but the authors ultimately play to a man's sense of vanity: “Chances are, you haven’t done so badly, despite the few extra lbs you’re carting around," they write. "But don’t kid yourself, pal: A hot-bodied man is a head-turner.”
