Canadian pastor Hyeon Soo Lim was reunited with his family in Ontario on Saturday after being imprisoned in North Korea for two years, CBC News reported. Lim was arrested in 2015 and had been sentenced to hard labor for life on charges of attempting to overthrow the Pyongyang regime. North Korean news agencies said Wednesday that he was being released on humanitarian grounds. James Lim, the pastor's son, said his father was in good health. “We're extremely happy,” he said at a press conference Saturday afternoon. “We are ecstatic and joyful that my father is now home.”
