Time to find a new way to get started in the morning. NPR’s mechanic comedians, Tom and Ray Magliozzi, a.k.a. Click and Clack, will retire, ending new shows for Car Talk. But fear not, fans, NPR said on Friday that it will still repackage old shows and broadcast them. Tom, 74, and Ray, 63, started Car Talk 35 years ago on WBUR and soon expanded to other NPR member stations. The brothers will retire after celebrating their 25th anniversary with NPR this fall.
