Cardi B Reveals Pregnancy During Dramatic ‘SNL’ Performance
The musical guest’s rumored pregnancy was confirmed Saturday night on live TV.

Cardi B put the rumors to rest during her second of two Saturday Night Live performances this weekend. While rapping “Be Careful,” a track from her critically acclaimed debut album Invasion of Privacy, which samples Lauryn Hill’s “The Ex Factor,” Cardi stepped out of the shadows and into the light, revealing a prominent baby bump. For weeks, speculation had been swirling that the rapper was up to seven months pregnant with her fiance, Migos’ Offset. In recent public appearances, including during her first performance on SNL and in a taped sketch with Aidy Bryant earlier in the night, she wore oversized outfits that concealed her pregnancy. In response to someone who asked about it on Instagram several months back, Cardi B responded, “No bitch I’m just getting fat.” But when the song ended Saturday night, she smiled as she stood in the spotlight and thanked her cheering fans.
