Cargo-Plane Bomb Was About to Go Off

Investigators say Chicago-bound packages from Yemen were wired to cell phones and hidden inside computer printer cartridges. According to a French official, one of the bombs was set to go off just 17 minutes after authorities defused the device. So far, a German official told the public that they suspect “master bomb maker” Ibrahim al-Asiri as the culprit who packed in 300 and 400 grams of PETN, one of the most powerful explosives known.
