In a press release issued Thursday, top investor Carl C. Icahn quoted The Daily Beast's Peter Lauria to support his claim that the board of Lionsgate entertainment studio, which he is trying to take over, tolerates high overheads and pursues a risky strategy. In the release, Icahn also increased the amount he is willing to pay for individual shares to $7, up from his previous offer of $6.
