The father of French President Nicolas Sarkozy has told a German newspaper that his son’s wife, Carla Bruni, is pregnant. "I'm glad to be having a grandchild," he said, adding that neither his son nor Bruni "want to know the sex of the child, but I'm sure it's a girl who'll be as beautiful as Carla.” Bruni has continued refusing to comment on the speculation, even on a recent television appearance where the host congratulated her.
