Carol Burnett will become a “Nazi-hunting mother” on Fox’s hit show Glee this fall, Entertainment Weekly reports. According to a source, the Emmy-winning comedy legend has been tapped to play the mother of Sue Sylvester (played by Jane Lynch) in an episode during the show’s upcoming second season. Sylvester mentioned her parents in an previous episode, but details about Burnett’s cameo have yet to be revealed. This will be a rare television appearance for Burnett, who acted in Desperate Housewives in 2006 and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2009.
