A Florida judge on Friday ordered Casey Anthony to return to Florida to serve her probation for a 2010 check-fraud conviction. Judge Belvin Perry, the same judge who presided over Anthony’s sensational murder trial, said she had not served her probation while in jail, as the judge who accepted Anthony’s plea in the check-fraud case said in open court that she was to serve a year’s probation in Florida after her release from jail. Perry said Anthony’s lawyers took advantage of a court error by claiming she would be harmed by serving her probation now. Perry noted a recent celebrity poll that found Anthony is the most hated American, and said her Florida address would be kept secret for this reason. Anthony has disappeared since she was released from jail on July 17.
