39-year-old Mexican Catholic priest Gregorio Lopez Gorostieta, who had been missing since Sunday, was found dead in an alley with a gunshot wound to the head, according to CNN. Church officials believe the murder took place Monday, though his body was found on Christmas. No motive is known for his death. “This is another priest added to those who have died for their love of Christ,” Bishop Maximino Martinez Miranda said in a statement. “Enough already of so much pain, of so many murders. Enough already of so much crime. Enough extortions.”
