CDC officials revealed Wednesday that a dozen scientists may have been exposed to Ebola in a lab at its Atlanta complex. The potential exposure occurred on Monday when scientists accidentally put samples of the virus in a place where it was transferred to a second lab for processing. The worker who processed it and about a dozen other scientists who entered that lab are being monitored for Ebola symptoms for the next 21 days. The incident caps off a year that has seen a number of CDC errors that have put workers at risk, including one accident that potentially exposed dozens of workers to Anthrax.
