First produced in 1964 in England, the Pirelli calendar has established itself as artistic, sophisticated, and high-fashion. In celebration of Pirelli's 50 years of production, the company has commissioned Peter Lindbergh and Patrick Demarchelier, who have both photographed calendars for Pirelli in the past, and six supermodels who have readily appeared in the calendar through the years: Alek Wek, Alessandra Ambrosio, Helena Christensen, Isabeli Fontana, Karolina Kurkova, and Miranda Kerr. While the content and photographer of the 2014 calendar have yet to be released, these iconic images highlight both Pirelli's history and continuing editorial vision.
