Just days after reporting the first homicide in its 14-year history, Celebration, FL has lost another resident: A 52-year-old former American Airlines pilot who barricaded himself in his condominium and committed suicide. The pilot fired at police before he shot himself. They police didn't return fire, and they weren't injured. The tragedy compounded an already-unsettling week for the quiet community of 11,000 residents, which was planned and built by Disney and is located next to the company’s DisneyWorld Resort. Meanwhile last week’s murder of 58-year-old Matteo Patrick Giovanditto remains unsolved.
