Even celebrities like hitting up the wholesale warehouse of Costco, whose super-sized portions could easily feed an army. Actress Kristen Bell, who opted to shop down the massive candy aisle, tweeted: “A day at Costco often leads to months of regret.”
It’s rare in Hollywood these days to maintain a marriage for more than a few years, let alone nearly a quarter century. But Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have managed to do it. Hanks tweeted a photo of the happy couple hiking in some bold headgear with the caption: “These people have been married 23 years.”
Should Katy Perry be jealous? In this photo, Rosie O’Donnell (who’s soon to begin production on her newest talk show for OWN) and Perry’s husband Russell Brand appear to be hanging out either in the early morning or post-workout session.
According to Steve Martin, the “Creepy Guy” is good for all manner of tasks around the house. Martin tweeted an image of his alter ego, saying, “The last thing bin Laden saw coming at him.”
Seemingly putting all the family drama behind her, Miley Cyrus spent this Mother’s Day touring in South America with her mom, Tish. The pop star tweeted: “Loving Argentina with my mama!”
To promote the release of his latest film Bridesmaids, Knocked Up director Judd Apatow visited Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Yacht Rock night, celebrating the smooth sounds of the 1970s and 80s. Apatow tweeted: “Yacht rock memories!”
Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara gave fans a sneak peek at photos from her forthcoming interview in Oprah Winfrey’s magazine O. Vergara tweeted (with some typos and lots of enthusiasm): “Shooting in Ny for O magacine.gracias Oprah!!!!”
Despite some mixed reviews for American Idol’s 10th season, Ryan Seacrest still manages to keep his fans entertained. On Cinco de Mayo, Seacrest tweeted: “Bet u didn't know we prepped tonight's #americanidol en espanol”
For her Cinco de May celebration, Eva Longoria spoke in support of the National Museum of the American Latino. The Desperate Houseiwves star tweeted: “At our great Capitol in Washington DC! I love being American! #usa”
Productively awaiting the release of his next film, Mr. Poppin’s Penguins, funnyman Jim Carrey toyed around with what appears to be a garment steamer. “I've created a non lethal gun 4 law enforcement,” he tweeted “I call it the 'Foggit' bcuz it causes loss of memory and mental...um ...um...foggit!”
When Jennifer Lopez’s new album Love? dropped, the American Idol judge greeted fans at the Hard Rock Café in Hollywood. She tweeted: “I'm so thankful for all of my #LOVE?RS. Thank you so much for coming to support me. I couldn't do it without you.”
Apparently, Glee’s Mark Salling is a fan of fashion. He seems especially fond of (or fond of mocking) co-star Chord Overstreet’s wardrobe. Salling tweeted: “Hey @chordoverstreet, I like your jeggings.”
