Las Vegas, meet your economic stimulus plan: Celine Dion will open her new show in Las Vegas Tuesday, her second in the city. (Her first closed after five years in 2007.) Vegas, crippled by 13 percent employment, is hoping the performer gives the city a much-needed boost: The show is currently selling tickets quickly, and Vegas executives hope her show will boost the convention, hotel, and gambling businesses. Dion will perform 70 shows a year.
