Teenagers have been directly targeted in worsening violence in the Central African Republic, according to the United Nations. Three dozen people died over the weekend as a result of inter-religious clashes after the body of a Muslim man was discovered. Teenagers were also directly targeted including a 16-year-old who was beheaded.
