Former prison chaplain Kenneth Dewitt has reportedly been charged with 50 counts of third-degree sexual assault for sex with inmates at the McPherson Women’s Unit in Newport, Arkansas. Dewitt resigned from his position in September 2014 after confessing to sexual relations with a subordinate female chaplain (and former inmate). Months later, he was accused of illegal sexual relations with two inmates at the facility.
