Charleston city officials decided Thursday how $2.8 million raised through the Emanuel AME Church fund will be distributed to the families of victims of the church shooting as well as survivors. Victims’ families will get 55 percent, while 25 percent will go to survivors of the attack; the rest will be distributed to dependent children as well as “special situations.”
