It's possibly the most coveted sit-down of the year. Famed interviewer Charlie Rose will be airing a discussion with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on his television show Monday, he announced on Sunday's episode of Face the Nation. In the preview of the interview, which took place Sunday in the presidential palace in Damascus, Assad denied involvement in August's chemical-weapons attack. However, he would not confirm or deny the use of such weapons by his regime at large. The interview will air in full on The Charlie Rose Show on PBS Monday night.
