Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller are finally separating, a source told E! Online on Friday. “Charlie has returned to his old habits,” the insider told the website. “Brooke has moved out of their family home. Brooke and Charlie still talk, but they don’t see each other.” The Two and a Half Men star’s rep confirmed to People.com that they’re living separately, saying, “Sometimes when couples are trying to work things out, it’s better if they don’t reside under the same roof.” Though the rep says there are no plans for Sheen and Mueller to divorce, the residential split comes on the heels of numerous allegations that have been brewing since Christmas, including domestic violence and substance abuse. The actor is still in rehab, according to E!’s source, who says the couple’s children are with their mother full-time. Besides his marriage, Sheen’s status on the CBS sitcom is also in limbo as he has yet to sign on for the next season. “Nothing is for sure yet,” the informant added.
