Actresses are having a really rough time this week, according to them. The morning after Cindy McCain criticized Gwyneth Paltrow for comparing mean online comments to combat, Charlize Theron described how her own press coverage can make her feel like she’s been raped. In an interview with U.K.’s Sky News, the South African actress said: “I don’t [Google myself]—that’s my saving grace. When you start living in that world, and doing that, you start feeling raped.” When the reporter asked whether she really meant to express the feeling so strongly, she replied, “Well, when it comes to your son and your private life.
