A man was arrested after tweeting that he planned to assassinate President Obama at tonight’s Democratic National Convention. He sent out five threatening tweets, including “Ima hit president Obama with that Lee Harvey Oswald swagg,” and “The Secret Service is gonna be defenseless once I aim the Assault Rifle at Barack’s forehead…F* the #DNC.” Donte Jarmar Sims, a 21-year-old Charlotte man, is being held and charged in a felony criminal complaint of threatening the president’s life. Maybe he shouldn’t have hashtagged his assassination threats.
