The mother of alleged Charlottesville murderer James Fields called 911 on her son multiple times, according to records obtained by TMZ. In at least three incidents, when Fields was 13 and 14 years old, he allegedly threatened or assaulted his mother, she told 911 dispatchers. Fields’ mother, who is wheelchair-bound, claimed Fields spit in her face and threatened her with a 12-inch knife. He also allegedly smacked her in the head when she told him to stop playing video games. Fields, a participant in white-supremacist marches, is accused of plowing a vehicle into a crowd of anti-racism protesters on Saturday, killing one.
