Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez might have outdone himself this time, claiming the U.S. caused the earthquake in Haiti with a “tectonic weapon.” The president said the earthquake was part of a plan to occupy Haiti, which is why the U.S. deployed thousands of troops after the natural disaster occurred. Chavez also told Russia Today that the U.S. should "stop playing God," and that these "weapon earthquakes" will be used against Iran in the future. Chavez isn’t alone with his conspiracy theories. Russia has accused the U.S.’s High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HARP) of developing “geophysical weapons.”
