Attendees of a Radiohead worldwide listening event Friday in Istanbul were reportedly attacked. According to Turkish news outlets, a group of men became violent with patrons of the Velvet Indieground record shop because of the listening party's use of alcohol and music during the holy month of Ramadan. Some of the commotion was caught on Periscope, and according to one man claiming to be the event's host, “We were beaten by more than 20 men with pipes in their hands, beer bottles were broken on our heads.”
