Chelsea Handler Launches Book Imprint

Publishing world, watch out! Three-time bestseller and E! Entertainment’s Chelsea Lately host Chelsea Handler has been given her own publishing imprint by Hachette Book Group, a subsidiary of Grand Central Publishing, to be called Borderline Amazing/A Chelsea Handler Book. Handler’s first book will be Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me, to be released in May 2011. Her second book will be “written” under the byline of her dog, Chunk. With the success of her previous books, her show on E!, and her comedy tour, Handler expects her books to be pseudo-attacks targeting, well, Chelsea Handler. “This is a different approach, getting all my friends and family involved, telling them how I’ve screwed them over. I’ll be editing and overseeing while my family and friends make money off me and get something back from the torture I’ve put them through.”
