Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports/Reuters

The Cubs ended their historic 108-year World Series championship drought in a dramatic Game 7 win over the Cleveland Indians, and were reportedly hoping to make the traditional White House visit before Obama departed Washington, D.C, because of his Chicago background.
