Chicken Soup for the Supermodel

Pass the Kugel

Kate Moss is taking an unlikely career detour soon—she’s written a kosher cookbook, complete with chicken noodle soup and latke recipes. Mazel tov!

How’s this for expanding her repertoire? Kate Moss, who recently christened New York’s Topshop, is said to be gathering recipes for a cookbook of kosher meals. The Daily Mirror reports from anonymous sources in the kitchen: “We hear the Croydon-born supermodel has been trying her hand at everything from chicken noodle soup to salt beef and potato latkes, non-dairy pareve carrot and honey cakes.” Apparently she wants to be the first model to try her hand in the kitchen. The suggestion came from her friend, Stasha Palos, step-daughter to Topshop mogul Sir Philip Green, who’s releasing a book of traditional Jewish meals. She has her first taste-tester in Brit guitarist boyfriend Jamie Hince. Here’s hoping the potato latkes don’t go straight to her hips.
