A 2-year-old was accidentally shot by another child in LaGrange, Georgia, police said Monday. Authorities said two women were at an apartment along with three other children—ages 10, 3, and 1– at the time of the shooting. One of the children had reportedly found a handgun in the apartment and accidentally fired a shot, which struck the 2-year-old Calvinyanna Sanders. The toddler sustained a gunshot wound to the torso and was flown to a hospital. Police are investigating how the children were able to access the gun.
